   CHANGE: IT START WITH ME

                                                  They say "people change" but why do people change? there are such a reason why do people change but the main reason is people  change for better.
                                                  If we want to change lets start it own ourselves and serve as a model to everyone and encourage them to change their wrong doings and just themselves to become a better person. Changing for better is not bad but if we change for bad purposes we just stay what we are now and be contended of what we have but if we want for a better life just make a move and be responsible person we will be a better person someday. Change our bad attitudes for us to become a better person and a good leader to our fellow men and women. Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent. This means that we should not let someone rule our life and let our self control and rule our own life for us to be better and let us practice to be independent and not to depend on the other people because they also have their own life.
                                                I'm not going to change the way I look or the way I feel to conform to anything. I've always been a freak. So I've been a freak all my life and I have to live with that, you know. I'm one of those people.It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.

KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL

                                    The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated its Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. This year marks the province’s 193rd year based on the Royal Decree dated February 2, 1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”.
                                    We ca see in the kannawidan festival the different otops of different municipalities in Ilocos Sur and there is also the other products that they sell. It's an honor for me to witness the opening of the Kannawidan festival here in Ilocos Sur because in the opening we can see the people in Ilocos Sur that going just to witness the opening of the biggest festival in Ilocos Sur. Also, The day that the festival starts lets say that the other day will be interesting as we didn't expect. There are a lot of games that they made for us to enjoy the festival and also at night there are some artists coming just to entertain us. There are also people from other province who are coming here in Ilocos just to watch and also to participate  in the different contest that they have.
                                     Kannawidan Festival is one of the happiest festival that I thought. I am proud to be a Ilocano because of it's beauty.

New Year, New Me...

                           NEW YEAR NEW LIFE

                                          Another year, another beginning, another hope to us. Here comes again a new beginning for us to become change and become a better person. A new journey to be experience and to explore a new adventure and a new problem that we may encounter in our journey this 2014.
                                          "End is the beginning of everything", this quotation is just like telling us that in the end there is  a new hope to change our bad attitude, and to start a better life with our family, friends and the person that is  part of our life and to those people who will be part of our life. In the previous year if we done such a wrong thing to other people and we are not able to say sorry to them, let this year be the start of a good relationship with them and just forget about the bad memories of the past let just reminisce the best memories in the past with the people we love. To become a better person let ourselves do the things that no one will be hurt with our wrong doings, lets change our bad attitudes that we had in the previous years of living instead change it to the good  attitudes that can make us comfortable with and happy to have this attitude.
                                        This year lets begin to become a better person not just in this year but instead all the years that we spend in the earth with our love ones. We can not stop the time if we regret the things that we do so we must not do bad things to others that may hurt their feelings because if they get mad to us and  decided to not be friends with us we must regret it so just be a good person that we can. I am not saying that we just obey the rules but sometimes there is a time that we must disobey this for us to become happy.

ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

               Every year we are celebrating Christmas because every Christmas we are celebrating is the birth of our savior  Jesus Christ. In preparation for Christmas, we find time to decorate our house with our different christmas  decorations. There are also some children caroling from house to house. Also, in the 16th of December is the start of the Missa  DE Gallo for the preparation of the Christmas day in the  25th of December.

               The true essence of christmas is sharing, giving and loving one another. We should share some of our blessing in life not just only the time for christmas but everyday because we cannot predict what will happen in the other day. We also give because we also need some of material things or money sometimes so we should not b selfish to the  other person. And also Loving, without loving one another is o no peace in this country and I think without our love to another I think this world is now full of crimes. We also say that no man is an island so we should treat one another  as our family and love one another.

             This sharing, giving and loving should not only done in Christmas season but make this as our hobby, this is not only for our self nut this is for all the people here in the world.

Climate Change

          Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over period ranging from decades to millions of years. Climate  change is also referred as "global warming".

             Sometime due to this climate change there is  a time that  we cannot perform our human activities because sometimes we cannot predict the weather if it will rain or not. Example, it is summer season  and we are planing to take some vacation in a  beach but suddenly  the rain will come the day that wear ready so our  vacation will again postponed in some other time. Also, sometimes it is raining hard early in the morning and I decided to wear just only slipper in going to school but suddenly in he middle of the morning the rain will stop and the  sun will rise. See  we  cannot predict the  weather so we  can just prepare ourselves every day and be ready all the time because of the climate change and also we didn't know what will happen in that day and in the other day..

           There is no permanent in this world so just be satisfy on what we have and just enjoy oursevles every day because  global  warming is  upon us and no one can tell what will happen every day.

Equal Right, Equal Opportunities

           In  the beginning the right and the opportunities of men and women are not equal. Boys are more powerful than the girls. Girls are weak and she just do whatever her parents want.

          In this modern time girls and boys have now a equal rights and opportunities in the country. Girls can do the work of the boys  and same through with the  boys, they  can do what  girls can do. In the old time we  know the clash between the boys and  girls. In the past years men have more rights than the girls like boys are  free to be educated, work outside the house and  others, but now we can see the improvement in our  society, boys and  girls are  now equal and we can do whatever we want as long we don't put someone down. God created us similar to each other so we have equal rights and opportunities in our society.

               Sometimes they keep on telling us( kids but more on teenagers) that told times is  much better than in the modern time but we are now in a  modern time with a lot of technologies so we can not  dictate/ predict what will  happen, there will be the time that  people will  change but  we can no avoid to compare the old  and  the  modern times.

Going Global Through English Language

ENGLISH: Language for All

                                           We said that English is our universal language because through English we can communicate with other people even though we are in the other country with different nationalities. With the help of English language we can easily be comfortable in a place that  there are only some who are familiar with our own language because through English we can understand one another.

                                           I observe as of now that there are a lot of Filipinos who are working in other country and also they are migrating there already because of their work. As  i can see, they can adjust easily with their language because  we Filipinos are now fluent in using English language because the time that we are learning in and outside the school we are learning English language trying to understand and speak the universal language step by step until right now proud of what we are and what we learn in school. As of now, I think  grade one can now use English language straight with correct grammar that's why we can communicate and understand other people through the English language.

                                          It's good to learn  the universal language because of its advantages but still use our own language and do not forget it because it is our  own language and  we  are the first to use and admire our language with all our heart even though we are fluent in using English language.
